Karnataka consumer panel says gold-loan bank can’t cap stolen-jewelry赔偿
A Karnataka consumer commission ruled a bank cannot limit compensation to the net gold value if pledged gold jewellery is stolen while in the bank’s custody. The lender must also cover making charges and the value of stones.
