KOSPI climbs over 1% as semiconductors and tech rally
The benchmark KOSPI climbed more than 1% to around 7,060 on Wednesday, recovering losses. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose 1.3%, with Samsung Electronics up 1.1% and SK hynix up 3.4%. Defense and shipbuilding shares also gained.
