KBW Bank Index Extends Losing Streak to Six Weeks, Longest Since 2008
The KBW Nasdaq Bank Index has fallen for six straight weeks, its longest losing streak since July 2008, and slipped 1.1% on Monday to close at 167.15. It is down 11.8% since the streak began in early September and 13.8% from its Aug. 14 record close.
