Italy’s League backs up to €3 bln bank levy for 2027 budget
Italy’s co-ruling League said Italian banks should contribute up to €3 billion (about $3.49 billion) via a proposed 5% profits levy, which it said could generate €2–€3 billion for next year’s budget.
