Irenic opposes Independence Realty Trust's Centerspace deal, urges sale of IRT
Irenic Capital Management, which says it owns about 2% of Independence Realty Trust, sent a letter opposing the proposed acquisition of Centerspace. It says IRT should instead sell itself and intends to vote against the share issuance required to complete the transaction.
