Iran Says Hormuz Transit Requires Prior Coordination With Tehran
Iran’s deputy foreign minister said commercial vessels may not transit the Strait of Hormuz without prior coordination with Tehran. He said Iran seeks to register an agreement with Oman on transit routes with the IMO, but reopening would depend on the United States fulfilling suspended commitments.
