Iran says reopening the Strait of Hormuz depends on its conditions being met and a negotiated solution, after Trump said he rejected Tehran's proposal. A senior Iranian official said Iran would show no flexibility on its nuclear program even if the US accepted the deal.
Iran says its proposal could reopen the strait and pause regional fighting within seven days if the US agrees. Reuters could not immediately confirm a Wall Street Journal report that Trump rejected the offer.
