Informa to buy Clarion for £2.24bn; Clarkson eyes profit above view
Informa said it will acquire B2B events firm Clarion for £2.24 billion ($2.96 billion) and separate its academic publishing arm, Taylor & Francis, from the group. Clarkson forecast annual underlying pretax profit above market view, boosted by elevated freight rates.
