Sept 30 snapshot: Sensex down 0.07% to 72,480.29 and Nifty 50 down 0.42% to 22,620.45. Rupee up 0.16% to 95.83 per US dollar; 10-year bond yield up 2.51 bps to 7.1879%.
Most Asian currencies weaken, with Thailand's baht leading losses at as much as 33.635 per dollar. Indonesian rupiah, Philippine peso and South Korean won also weaken as US yields rise.
