Indian benchmarks extend losses; Nifty below 23,650, Sensex down 555
Indian benchmark indices extended their losing streak for a second session on Sept. 8. The Nifty hit a nearly three-month low as selling pressure hit IT, oil & gas and banking stocks; the Sensex fell 555 points.
