Indian Banks Shrink Short-Term Borrowings by 1.3 Lcr
Indian banks have reduced their certificates of deposit (CDs) by over 1.3 lakh crore rupees in a single month. This represents a 19% decrease in outstanding short-term market borrowings, partly attributed to liquidity from the Reserve Bank of India's special deposit window.
