India net direct tax collections rise 13% in April 1–September 17 period
India’s net direct tax collections increased 13% year-on-year to 12.1 trillion rupees ($126.28 billion) from April 1 to September 17, the tax department said. Gross direct tax collections rose over 15% year-on-year.
