India September Power Demand Jumps 11.3%, Peak Demand Hits Record
India's power consumption in September increased by 11.3% year-on-year to 162 billion units, driven by demand for cooling and irrigation. The country also recorded its highest-ever peak power demand met at 269 GW during the month.
