India’s Rupee Defence Fuels Bets on Faster Rate Hikes
Traders are increasing bets on faster Indian rate hikes as efforts to stabilize the rupee weigh on bonds. Analysts at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank and IDFC First Bank say the 10-year government bond yield may reach 7.5% as soon as this month.
