Ifo Institute raises German growth forecasts for 2026-2028
Ifo Institute now expects German growth of 1.4% in 2026, 1.2% in 2027 and 0.8% in 2028, after previously forecasting 0.8% for this year and the next. It cites expansionary fiscal policy and additional infrastructure spending.
