IBM and Siemens Partner on 3D Nanostack Architecture for AI Chips
IBM's vertically stacked nanosheet architecture targets nearly 100 billion transistors in a fingernail-sized area. Siemens will contribute EDA software, process simulation and lithography optimization to address fabrication challenges and prepare the technology for future large-scale production.
