Hurricane Polo strengthens to 125 mph as it turns northward
The Category 3 hurricane was about 280 miles west-southwest of Cabo San Lucas and is forecast to approach Baja California Sur on Monday. The advisory warned of life-threatening flooding, mudslides, storm surge and destructive waves.
