Hong Kong renews TVB free — to — air TV licence for 12 years
Hong Kong renewed TVB’s domestic free-to-air television program service license for 12 years. Broadcaster expects faster rollout of planned regulatory relaxations aimed at leveling competition with online media. Communications Authority will oversee the renewal process, including reviews of relevant Codes of Practice.
