U.S. Treasury yields held near multidecade highs in Asia as traders remained focused on higher borrowing costs and a modest risk-off tone.
Belgium’s economics ministry reported September consumer prices up 0.39% month-on-month and 4.69% year-on-year, with month-on-month gains mainly in motor fuels, natural gas, electricity, package holidays and heating oil.

US natural gas futures for October delivery fell 2.6% to settle at $2.836 per million British thermal units on Monday. Forecasts for milder temperatures and lower oil prices weighed on the market.
US natural gas futures dropped more than 2% on Monday, weighed down by forecasts for milder temperatures and easing oil prices after several weeks of weather-driven gains. October delivery futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange were down 6.3 cents, or 2.2%, to $2.85 per million British thermal units.
