Hanmi Pharma gets South Korea approval for Efpeo auto-injector obesity drug
South Korea's MFDS granted marketing authorization for Hanmi Pharmaceutical’s Efpeo Auto-Injector (efpeglenatide), an obesity drug for chronic weight management. Approval covers five strengths; indicated for adults with BMI >=30, or BMI >=27 with at least one weight-related comorbidity. Authorization date Oct. 7, 2026;
