Goolsbee warns against “looking through” persistent supply shocks
Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee said central banks should not simply “look through” persistent supply shocks, saying large supply disruptions have recently become more frequent, hit harder and lasted longer. He also said he is “attuned” to elevated service-sector inflation.
