Gold ends three-day run as dollar firms on rate-hike bets
Gold prices fell Monday, snapping a three-day winning streak, as a stronger U.S. dollar and profit-taking weighed on the yellow metal. The dollar index rose to 100.42, up nearly 0.2% from the prior close, amid expectations of additional Federal Reserve rate hikes.
