GlobalFoundries Plans Two New York Chip Plants With Up to $20 Billion in Funding
GlobalFoundries plans to build two chip plants in New York using up to $20 billion in funding from Japan and money from the CHIPS Act. The U.S. Commerce Department plans to take a 4% stake in the company.
