Gilts outperform U.S. and eurozone peers after U.K. inflation
U.K. gilt yields dropped sharply and faster than U.S. and eurozone peers after U.K. inflation data came in line with expectations. The data offered limited evidence that high energy prices were feeding through into the wider economy, following weak U.K. jobs data on Tuesday.
