The Dow Jones fell more than 150 points Wednesday, while J.M. Smucker shares rose about 3% after better-than-expected first-quarter results and raised FY27 guidance above estimates.
The U.S. Personal Consumption Expenditures price index rose 3.7% year over year in July versus economist forecasts of 3.6%, while the monthly measure increased 0.2% and core PCE was unchanged at 3.3%.
