French lawmakers approve amendment taxing crypto-to-stablecoin swaps from 2027
France’s National Assembly adopted Amendment I-3898 on Friday by 38 votes to 37, with 25 abstentions. It could make crypto-to-stablecoin swaps taxable events starting in 2027.
