Five EU countries urge smaller 2028-2034 budget; Spain shares ideas
Germany, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands and Austria said the EU budget for 2028-2034 should be several hundred billion euros smaller than the €2 trillion proposed by the European Commission, ahead of EU budget talks.
