Fitch rates Alabama $37.53 million GO bonds AA+
Fitch assigned a AA+ rating to Alabama's $37.530 million general obligation bonds, series 2026A-2, and affirmed the state's IDR at AA+ and appropriation-backed revenue bonds at AA. The bonds are set to price Oct. 14 by competitive sale, with the outlook stable.
