Fed Waller says he’d hold steady unless August inflation progress reverses
Fed Governor Christopher Waller said he is inclined to hold the policy rate steady at the Fed’s September 15-16 meeting if August inflation progress continues. If it comes in hot, he would consider a September rate hike.
