FTC agriculture inquiry pressures Caterpillar, Deere shares
Caterpillar, Deere and other agriculture-related stocks fell after the FTC and USDA requested public information on agricultural equipment and distribution markets, including potential anticompetitive conduct. Caterpillar dropped 5.8%, while Deere fell 3.8% and peers AGCO and CNH also declined.
