European spot power prices dip on higher renewable supply
European spot power prices fell on Tuesday due to expectations of increased solar energy supply in Germany and higher wind output in France on Wednesday. The German day-ahead baseload contract decreased by 10.3% to €188.50 per megawatt-hour, and the French equivalent fell 8.1% to €184/MWh.
