Equinor's Hammerfest LNG plant upgrade cost up 30% to $2.77 bln
The cost estimate for Equinor's project to cut CO2 emissions and extend the lifetime of Norway's Hammerfest LNG plant has risen to 26.5 billion Norwegian crowns ($2.77 billion) from 20 billion crowns in December, and compares to an original estimate of 13.2 billion crowns in 2022. The project is 60% complete.
