Egypt August net foreign assets highest since January 2020: CBE
Net foreign assets (NFAs) of Egypt’s banking sector reached $31.2 billion in August 2026, the highest level since January 2020, according to Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data. Net foreign assets of commercial banks rose to $12.4 billion in August 2026.
