Economist Estimates 2027 Social Security COLA at 3.4%
Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikoff estimates the 2027 Social Security cost-of-living adjustment at about 3.4%, while AARP projects 3.6%. The official figure is scheduled for release after September inflation data.
