Copper edges up as tech rally, rate hike bets temper dollar
Copper prices were marginally up on Tuesday, as a boost from a tech-driven US stock market rally and receding market bets on a Federal Reserve rate hike this month were largely offset by a stronger dollar. Benchmark three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 0.08% at $14,431.5 a metric ton by 0300 GMT.
