Constellation Energy to buy Rhode Island energy center for $715 million
Constellation Energy (CEG) agreed to acquire 100% of RISEC Holdings, LLC, owner of the Rhode Island State Energy Center, from Shell Energy North America for $715 million; CEG and SHEL shares rose overnight after the announcement.
