Coal India Ramps Up Supplies in September as Power Demand Rises
State-run Coal India augmented supplies by 12.5 percent year-over-year to 61.20 million tonnes in September, driven by higher coal burn from thermal power plants to meet rising power demand. Supplies to the power sector increased by 10.63 percent year-over-year.
