Chinese rare earth suppliers halt some U.S. shipments after export licenses
Some Chinese suppliers refuse rare-earth shipments to U.S. customers even after export licenses, Reuters reports. The issue is on Washington’s agenda ahead of Xi’s Sept. 24 visit; U.S. yttrium imports are about half 2024 levels.
