China CPI rises to 0.8% in August, seen reducing cut-urgency
China’s consumer inflation accelerated to 0.8% year-on-year in August from 0.5% in July, which an ANZ economist said gives policymakers more room to maneuver and lowers urgency for near-term rate cuts.
