Canadian dollar rallies, then slips after Aug. 22 50% tariffs
The Canadian dollar rallied almost 3.5% versus the U.S. dollar from July 6 to Aug. 21, with crude oil support, then gave much back after 50% tariffs took effect Aug. 22 and reciprocal measures followed.
