Canada stocks open higher on easing oil prices, tech gains
Canada's main stock index opened higher on Monday, lifted by technology shares, as a more than 3% dip in oil prices improved sentiment. The S&P/TSX Composite Index rose 0.44% to 35,965.28 points by 09:31 a.m. ET. Investors awaited remarks from the Bank of Canada governor.
