Burundi to receive US deportees via third-country scheme, excluding alleged crime or terrorism links
Burundi agreed to join other African nations receiving migrants deported from the US under President Donald Trump’s immigration policy, but will only accept those not accused of crime or accused of terrorism links, a spokesperson for President Evariste Ndayishimiye said.
