Brent crude futures rise 3.4% to $104.64 amid Gulf shipping risks
Oil prices rose Thursday, with both Brent and WTI trading above $100 before easing slightly as markets assessed escalating Gulf shipping attacks and renewed Houthi strikes on Saudi Arabia. Front-month Brent crude oil futures gained 3.4% to $104.64 a barrel.
