BoE ends post-2049 gilt sales; QT pace cut
The Bank of England announced a plan to no longer sell gilts maturing after 2049 and reduced the pace of quantitative tightening to an average of 46 billion pounds per year until 2034, from 70 billion pounds per year currently. The announcement is driving gilt yields lower, market talk reported.
