Bessent unveils 2026 commemorative half dollar for 9/11 anniversary
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the U.S. is marking the Sept. 11 25th anniversary with a commemorative half dollar featuring a privy mark inscribed “Never Forget.” The Mint struck the coin at the Philadelphia Mint; prices are $40 to $100, with pre-orders through Sept. 25 and shipping expected to begin Dec. 3.
