Barclays seen facing deposit competition, U.K. and 2027 cost pressures
BofA Securities analysts say Barclays has limited upside from tougher competition for U.K. deposits and potentially higher cost pressures from 2027. They also warn higher U.S. interest rates could stifle fee income in the U.S. consumer business.
