Barclays Third-Quarter Pretax Profit Misses Estimates on Fixed-Income Weakness
Barclays reported pretax profit of 2.32 billion pounds for the quarter, compared with 2.08 billion pounds a year earlier. The bank said stronger equities performance was outweighed by weaker fixed-income earnings.
