Bank of Canada holds policy rate at 2.25%, warns tariffs cloud growth
Bank of Canada kept its key policy rate on hold at 2.25%. It said risks to inflation have grown and new U.S. tariffs make growth prospects more uncertain; the rate has been unchanged for 11 months.
