Bank Nifty tops benchmarks, holds above 56,400; HDFC Bank up
On September 18, Bank Nifty outperformed benchmark indices, rising above 56,400. HDFC Bank led gains with a move over 2.5%, followed by Punjab National Bank and IndusInd Bank up 0.6% each; Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra also rose.
