Baltic Dry Index falls 4.78% for eighth straight session
The index lost 134 points to 2,667, its weakest level since July 29. Capesize fell 9.11% to 3,630, its lowest since late June, and daily earnings declined $3,302 to $29,417. Panamax fell 0.95%; Supramax rose 0.65%, while Handysize was unchanged.
